Celtic Romance - Peter Boris Koval
This arrangement of my piece is for solo euphonium and band. The solo part features lyricism with a Celtic feel, almost modal, with successive reappearances of the main theme more ornamented. The band provides rhythmic support, countermelodies, strong bass lines and variety of harmony. There are no extremes of range and the solo part's upper limit is B above the stave. Duration is 4:14 minutes. The overall mood is of introspection and emotion, yet with a foot-tapping beat.

O Holy Night - Adolphe Adam - Zillah Day-Smith
O HOLY NIGHTA concert arrangement of this popular carol for a quartet of brass band instruments. The beautiful melody is spread throughout the parts, emphasising the emotional qualities of the original vocal composition. This is a piece that demands some ensemble skills and experienced band players will enjoy the solo elements.The score includes both E flat and B flat bass parts to suit the ensemble's requirements.

£7.54The Lord Bless You and Keep You (Brass Band - Additional Parts) John Rutter
John Rutter's popular choral benediction is based on Numbers 6:24-26, and has here been arranged for brass band by Andrew Wainwright. It is a setting of a biblical benediction, followed by an extended 'Amen'. Rutter originally scored the piece for four vocal parts (SATB) and organ. He composed it in 1981 for the memorial service of Edward T. Chapman, the director of music at Highgate School, London, with whom he had studied when he attended the school. Children's Voices SA parts available separately. Op.109 Song of Freedom was commissioned by the National School Brass Band Association to commemorate the Association's 21st Anniversary. The first performance was given on 12th May 1973 at the Harlow Sportscentre by the Netteswell School Band and Choir, conducted on that occasion by the composer. The idea sprang out of a desire by the N.S.B.B.A. to mark it's 'coming of age' by bringing into being a work for chorus and Brass Band which was within the scope of an average School Band and Choir. The four movements are: Prelude; Hymn; Intermezzo; Postlude. Duration: 19:00

The title refers to the big radio telescope at Jodrell Bank in England. This composition is not exactly a symphonic poem, although it tries to give a musical portrait of eternity and infinity. 'Jodrell Bank' is a real classic of the brass band repertoire with its romantic style, its impressive climaxes alternating with quiet pauses and its sparkling finale. Peter York was above all a composer of film and theatre music and was very active in the world of entertainment and light music. Yet he had one musical hobby: composing for brass band even if he had no links at all with the brass band world. At first, he signed his brass band compositions with the pen name Ivor Gould but later used his own name. Among his most important compositions are The Shipbuilders Suite, Gallions Reach and Jodrell Bank.

When a Knight Won His Spurs - Traditional - Thomas, B
Many people of a certain age will be familiar with When a Knight won his Spurs. A God-fearing Knight battling fearsome dragons and ogres really sticks in the memory, along with the fabulous folk tune.Prefaced by a mysterious opening derived from the melody itself, the tune appears a further three times, linked by a glittering fanfare. The folk feel of the original tune has been retained, and the piece drives along using a dual 3/4 - 6/8 time signature. The first statement of the tune is a conventional harmonisation; the second statement uses more colourful harmonies, and the triumphal final statement follows a dramatic upward key change. Three minutes in length makes it an ideal opener.2nd section +
