    Brass Band Concert Series - Grade 4 Fantasy on London Nursery Rhymes was commissioned by Paul Holland for the Flowers Band, and was included in their 2016 Brass in Concert programme. This light-hearted work uses the melodies of traditional nursey rhymes that have an association with London; Oranges and Lemons, The Muffin Man, Pop Goes the Weasel, Humpty Dumpty and Mary Mary Quite Contrary. Each setting of the rhyme depicts a famous landmark from the capital; Big Ben, the Thames, the Underground, Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards Parade and the Tower of London.     Brass Band Concert Series - Grade 6 Championship Section Test-piece Realms of Asgard is a symphonic poem for brass and percussion which comprises of seven musical scenes, each reflecting the composers impressions of the individual worlds found in the Yggdrasill legend. In Norse mythology, Yggdrasill (Ig-dru-cell) is an immense Ash tree that connects the nine home-worlds of the Norse cosmos. Asgard sits at its pinnacle where the High Gods look down and oversee the activities in the other worlds.
