£12.50Ave Verum (Brass Band - Score only) - Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus
During his brief career, Mozart wrote much music of various types, but some of his most valuable contributions were dedicated to the Church. Here is his beautiful 'Ave Verum'. The music simply breathes adoration and reverence, and because of this, if handled sympathectically, can hardly fail to stir within us deeply spiritual emotions. Adopt a vocal style of playing and observe intelligently the degrees of force and treat accordingly.

£50.00Keystone Kops (Brass Band - Score and Parts) - Davis, Carl - Littlemore, Phillip
The Keystone Kops was a series of silent comedies featuring an incompetent group of policemen. They first appeared in the 1912 film Hoffmeyer's Legacy but it was the 1913 feature The Bangville Police that confirmed their popularity. The Keystone Kops were renowned for making mistakes, particularly with a great deal of energy and activity, and all done with a major lack of coordination. Carl Davis's 3-minute tour de force is a fine encore piece!Recorded on Polyphonic QPRL218D Master Brass (Volume Fourteen)Duration: 3:00

£30.00Creature's Comfort - Jock McKenzie
This piece was written with the intention of being either an encore or end of set number; not a full-on technical 'tour de force' but rather a few minutes of 'comfort & chill' music consisting of a Blues / Gospel feel with a bit of Do-Wop thrown in for good measure.

Mars Attacks - Elfman, D - Phillips, L
Tim Burton weaved his usual brand of zaniness throughout this film and his regular composer, Danny Elfman, created a humorous parody of early B movie sci-fi scores by his use of choir and two theremins - an early synthesizer (optional choir and synth. parts supplied). This arrangement features the music that accompanies the film's horrific opening, a heard of burning cattle stampeding past a shocked family; the scoring here is dissonant and over-the-top with horror value. This is followed by Elfman's quirky Main Title Theme which sees the Martian invasion force enroute to Earth - wicked and fiendish fun ensues.2nd section +

£76.00A Spring Lullaby - Andrew Pearce
During the past few years, Andrew Pearce enjoyed a fruitful collaboration with Phillip Cobb, principal trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra, composing such works as The Maestro and Interlude for his album in 2012. Later Cobb invited Pearce to compose a slow melody, accompanied by the Central Band of the Royal Air Force for Cobb's upcoming album, displaying his softer, expressive side on flugelhorn. This song-like, warm lilting lullaby reflects on the joy of life.

LORD IS KING, The (Brass Band Set) - Ray Steadman-Allen
Ray Steadman-Allen was for many years the driving force in Salvation Army music. His publication list of both brass and vocal works can be measured literally by the hundred. 'The Lord is King' is arguably his crowning achievement of over twenty major works for brass band. Although described as a suite, the work is more symphonic in conception and scale as well as being formidable to perform. The work is based on the Welsh hymn tune 'Llangollen' to which the hymn 'The Lord is King, I own His power' are associated. The three movements derive inspiration from the lines 'My joy, my toil, my craftman's skill, all have their place, and serve His will' found in verse five of the hymn.

£69.99Momentum (Brass Band - Score and Parts) - Doss, Thomas
The Latin word Momentum has come to mean many different things in our language: a short period of time, a force, or a speed of movement. In our current times of around-the-clock high speed and energy, the composer wanted to write a reflective and meditative piece that focuses on the moment at hand.Duration: 5.30
