The book became very popular and a play, own songs and record releases followed in the years after publication. The book is considered one of the most important Norwegian children's books. Many people probably also associate "Kardemomme By" with Kristiansand Zoo, where an exact copy according to Egner's drawings was built and opened in 1991.With this flex arrangement, your band can play "Kardemommesangen" ("Cardamom Song"), "Visen om vaeret" ("Song of the Weather"), "Rovervise" ("Robber Song") and "Politimester Bastian" ("Chief of Police Bastian's song").
