Winter's Rose - Jonathan Bates

Long ago, in a grand castle hidden deep within the forest, there lived a selfish and arrogant prince. One winter s night, an old beggar woman asked for shelter in return for a single rose, but the prince turned her away. Revealing herself as an enchantress, she placed a curse on the prince and all within his castle. Until he learned to love another and earn love in return, he would remain a beast forever.
