This energetic piece, one of the many qualities of Ennio Morricone's music, has recently been brought back into the public eye with its use in the new 'Health Lottery" Adverts and many other TV appearances. The music comes from the iconic picture "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" while the character Tuco searches for the $200,000 hidden in a graveyard. Since then, its been a hit world wide, being used in several media campaigns. its success can be attributed to the strong, powerful melody that last long in the memory. Now for the first time, arranged for band by Andi Cook, the brass band can enjoy the powerful piece that follows its delicate opening for Solo Horn. Ellandium was commissioned for Elland Silver Band's debut album, 'iMAGINATIONS' (2018), and was first performed at their 'Yorkshire Champion Contenders' concert on 25th February 2017. The work is a beautiful hymn with a modern twist, featuring lush, jazz-inspired harmonies and a soaring, heartfelt theme carried delicately by Cornets and Baritone. Composed by Elland Silver Band's Composer-in-Residence, Nick Brocklehurst, Ellandium will satisfy audiences from start to finish, from its humble opening to its powerful climax and peaceful resolution.

There is little doubt in anyone's mind that Goff Richards' music enriched the Brass Band repertoire with his colourful and imaginative arrangements and compositions. Composer, Gavin Somerset was encouraged when younger by Goff, to write for Brass Bands after they had worked on an arrangement together. Following the passing of Goff back in 2011, this melodic, yet powerful work that reflected upon two of Goff's popular compositions for band, Pastorale & Country Scene, was composed. Seven years on, this work is only now being released and provides an emotional music tribute, which both players and audiences will enjoy over and over again.

Possibly the most well-known Mozart work of all time is now available as a fun Eb Bass Solo. With tongue-in-cheek accompaniment, this new tuba solo gives the soloist plenty to do in this fast paced concert showcase. Composed in 1787, this is the first movement from the popular Serenade, more often referred to in English as, A Little Night Music. Farondole - Bizet - Alan Beaumont
This famous movement from Bizet's highly popular suite has long been a favorite with brass bands and their audiences alike. This new arrangement now includes better percussion parts (including timpani) and some lovely grace notes for Baritone and Repiano. The Cornet section is also arranged unusually as it is written for 3 players to play the Repiano part and 2 players to play the Solo Cornet line. A wonderful effect.

Fanfare & Funk - Sam Fisher
This original work for brass band is the perfect choice to open a concert of contest programme. At just over three minutes, the music is in two clear sections, depicting the contrasting styles of traditional fanfare and modern funk. After a flourishing fanfare opening, the Cornets and Trombones lead a verse of the opening motif, accompanied by a rhythmically diminished version of the same motif from the Euphoniums and Baritones. This ostinato then leads us into a great entertaining funk section, with each section of the band rising to their feet as the piece builds to an exciting finale that is sure to engage audiences of all ages!

This famous work Rimsky-Korsakov has been wonderfully arranged by Adrian Horn as a real showcase feature for quartet and brass band. The quartet features your band's Cornet, Tenor Horn, Euphonium & Eb Bass players, all taking a pivotal role in this face paced and virtuosic piece. "Fort Drake" was composed specially for the British Bandsman March Composition Contest. The title is a respectful parody of a well-known march cited as a model in the contest regulations. Originally just a working title, it was later accepted for its suggestion of unyielding strength and durability. Written to appeal to bands and audiences alike, the piece has striking melodies, a smooth trio section and exciting phrases featured in all instruments.
