Be creative!The style at bar 115 must be outgoing and happy, with a lot of joyfulness!

It can be played simply as written, but is really designed to be 'staged' with players coming on the concert platform one by one as they begin to play. American Dances - Bertrand Moren
This entertaining work highlights the cornet and trombone sections. Several dances of American origin are presented by the soloists, supported by band accompaniment. Following a short introduction a country and western passage takes us to the far West and the home of the cowboys. The second part, a blues section, opens with a terrific trombone cadenza. The final jazz based passage is rather acrobatic in style and ends with a fantastic percussion improvisation.

Proud Mary - one of their best known songs was covered many times and this arrangement by Thijs Oud is based on Tina Turner's performance. For the musicians this is a fantastic piece to play. Each section has a challenging, yet satisfying part. For the audience this well-known and stirring number is a smash!
