Andrew Watkin takes us on a three-movement musical journey in U.S. City Trip. Each movement explores a world famous street in three different American cities. Swing, blues and rock styles accompany us as we visit the theatres on Broadway in New York, the clubs on Rampart Street in New Orleans' French Quarter and the casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.

Ubi Caritas - Thomas Caplin - John Philip Hannevik

Thomas Caplin is a Swedish professor of choral conducting. He works at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences in Hamar. He composed this beautiful opus for choir based on the ancient text Ubi caritas.The text is often used during Maundy Thursday, describing Jesus washing the feet of his disciples: Where charity and love are, there God isIn this arrangement, a smaller group of players are soloists. The arrangement will work well if the group can be placed on a gallery or at the back of the concert hall.

UFO Concerto - Johan de Meij

UFO Concerto is Johan De Meij's first solo work for euphonium and it consists of five movements that are thematically related. The opening chord and the first theme are based on those used in 'Extreme Makeover' and 'Planet Earth' in 2005. David Childs premiered this work with The Cory Band, conducted by his father Robert Childs at the 2012 RNCM Festival of Brass in Manchester.
