The Wellingtonian (Brass Band - Score only)
Scotney immortalised his native town and corps in this march and also in 'Wellington Citadel'. In a departure from normal process, Scotney uses a Salvation Army song, 'A robe of white' in the first strain while the hymn-like trio section has no associated text.

To Regions Fair (Brass Band - Score only) - Bearcroft, Norman
Clive Bright, in his score note when To Regions Fair was originally published in 1958, predicted that the march would 'have a good run'. In retrospect, this turned out to be something of an understatement as this march (and many other Bearcroft marches) remains vibrantly active fifty years after its original publication. The title is derived from the song 'Meet in bliss' which is featured in the trio section.

Torchbearers! (Brass Band - Score only) - Ball, Eric
This march was written for the Musical Troopers of 1933 to feature as a signature tune on their campaigns. This band was part of the Torchbearers session at the Salvation Army Training College (or School for Officer Training) and their sessional song can be heard sounding majestically in the third strain, the composer giving special emphasis to the first two words; Out there! Under Two Flags (Brass Band - Score only) - Coles, Bramwell
The catalyst for this march came during Bramwell Coles' brief service in the Royal Army Medical Corps at the end of World War One. It was intended as a salute to British Salvationists serving in the Armed Forces and includes quotations from several national airs like Rule Britannia, Men of Harlech, Bluebells of Scotland and God save the King (Queen).

Victors Acclaimed (Brass Band - Score only) - Coles, Bramwell
Bramwell Coles became known as the Salvation Army 'march king' a label he began to earn with his first march written in 1906! This march, written in 1945 to mark the end of World War Two, saluted his seven children all of whom returned unscathed from service in the armed forces.

Wisbech Citadel (Brass Band - Score only) - Gay, Albert
This homage to a Salvation Army corps in Cambridgeshire is Albert Gay's most popular Salvation Army composition although he wrote several other excellent marches like His Royal Banner and Western Valley. Deep Harmony (Brass Band - Score only) - Pullin, Stuart
Stuart Pullin unfortunately passed away at a very early age, just 32, but leaves a wonderful legacy of compositions. It was his wish that this moving arrangement of 'Deep Harmony' be donated to The Salvation Army for publication so that it can now be played and appreciated by all.

In Christ Alone (Euphonium Solo with Brass Band - Score only)
The popularity of this modern song is evidenced by the frequent use it enjoys during Sunday worship in many different denominational churches. The strength and solidity of the song is reflected in this triumphal arrangement, written at the request of Derick Kane and as a sequel to the earlier euphonium solo, 'There Will Be God'.

Paean (Brass Band - Score only) - Bright, Dudley
Commissioned by the Swiss Christian Brass Band Association in celebration of their 150th anniversary, the title 'Paean' means a shout of thanksgiving and praise. It is also the composer's personal expression of gratitude to God following major surgery. Although 'Paean' includes three fairly contemporary Christian songs, it is not intended to be played in any kind of rock or jazz style. The idiom is quite firmly rooted in brass band tradition. The opening fanfare-like section begins in celebratory mood before becoming more contemplative through the song 'Father God, I wonder'. A change of tempo heralds the statement of the thematically significant song 'Hosanna' before immediately moving to 'Faithful God'. Following a fugato the music retraces its steps to a triumphant restatement of the opening music.
