A new composition which would make a great opener for your Concert. Using "modern" (ie. of the last 30 years !!) Brass Band harmonies and strong rhythms this is a contrast to Andy's other works. The changes in time signatures flow quite naturally and add to the interest. Should work for smaller Bands and percussion (although desirable) is not essential. Take a look at the score here . At last an arrangement of this great piece which is accessible to lower section bands. You need capable players on solo cornet, solo horn and euphonium and everyone works hard (your top cornet may need a lie-down after!!) but this should still be performable by your band.
