With the onset of the REM sleep phase, however, in which most dreams take place and where the day's events are worked through, we hear other sounds played.With distorted sounds, reminiscent of an old gramophone, the music pulls the listener inevitably ever deeper into the dreamscape, in a very realistic dangerous situation that comes to a dramatic head. It triggers a desperate struggle between the impulse to awaken and the exhausting urge to flee. In 2006, a long-time dream of Philip Sparke finally became reality: to compose a set of variations on the famous chorale from Saint-Saens' renowned Organ Symphony. In 2009 the composer reworked the piece for brass band. Legend - Geert Jan Kroon
Other than the title, there is no real story that connects this piece to eyeballs or werewolves. There is no real legend that precedes this work. The legend will evolve in the listener's mind while listening to this piece. For me, it started with the title. It was dreamed up by my son. He also suggested a musical gesture, which I then used to build all the musical materials in this piece. I have sought to capture a dark atmosphere with a sense of excitement. Although, there are some not so dark moments in the piece which serve as a musical contrast. I would like to invite every listener to imagine a world where there exists a legend of a bleeding eyeball and a blind werewolf. And if you do dream up a great story, please let me know and share it with each other!

This part from Mendelssohn's 'Midsummer Night's Dream' is a nice piece full of atmosphere allowing a wind band to excel. Above all, the French horn section comes to the fore. The work is well suited for different occasions both solemn and festive. This is one of the first arrangements for wind band written by Willy Hautvast.

Haven't Met You Yet is the first single from Canadian singer Michael Buble's sixth album, Crazy Love, released on August 31, 2009. According to Buble, the single and its official music video are about everyone's dream of finding a relationship and love. Buble co-wrote Haven't Met You Yet with Alan Chang and Amy Foster-Gillies, and dedicated it to his then fiancee and now wife, Luisana Lopilato (who appears as his love interest in the music video).In 2012, Nick Jonas covered the song in the TV series Smash, so this music can also be used in a TV/Movie theme concert.
