This fresh new Christmas Suite is an upbeat 'festive suite' from the pen of Welsh Composer, Jonathan Mead. It features three well known carols that have been given an overhaul concerts this year. The three movements can be played as one continuous suite, or separated and performed individually if time doesn't permit for the full suite to be performed. The first Movement features a 'jazzed up' version of O Come All Ye Faithful. Movement 2 allows the bands soloists to shine if a stunningly reflective setting of See Amid the Winter's Snow. The final movement sees Silent Night in a way you've never heard before and has all the 'razzmatazz', and big finish that your concert needs. A must for your band and audiences this Christmas Season.

New Horizons - Max Stannard
This composition was originally written for the Horwich RMI Band to commemorate the life of Matthew Densfield, who has a drummer in his school brass band before his passing at an early age. This is a lively and energetic concert opener which encapsulates Matthew's love of live and rhythm as a drummer. RONDO from "ABDELAZAR" - Henry Purcell - Wilfried Weiland
Used as the opening theme from Britten's 'Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra', The RONDO is part of the ABELAZAR-Suite which the English composer Henry Purcell wrote for the drama of the same name by Aphra Behn in 1695. This is a 6-piece arrangement for 2 cornets/trumpets, horn/flugel , baritone/trombone, euphonium and bass with timpani and drumset accompaniment.

This work cleverly combines two well-loved songs, Amazing Grace & Swing Low, Sweet Chariot into a great little piece for bands. With the opening and close performed as a quartet feature, a lone soloist is heard ringing out the Swing Low melody before the tempo picks up from the band.
