Furthermore we're told in Philippians 2:10-11 that one day 'every knee will bow...and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord'. This arrangement celebrates Jesus' heavenly coronation, bringing together two well-known hymns inviting us to crown Jesus as King.No. 2163 Telling It! Originally written for Birmingham Citadel Band, the piece aims to follow the four verses of text and is mainly up-tempo in style, depicting the amazing fact that God loves us.No. 2144 Tu es Petrus (arr. Olaf Ritman)A setting of a madrigal by Robert Pearsall. Originally entitled 'Lay a garland', the original text was swapped for the religious Latin text, 'Tu es Petrus' (You are Peter).No. 2145 Cornet Solo - As I pray (arr. Ivor Bosanko)Major Joy Webb's song, 'As I pray' (STTL Vol. 2, part 2), is arranged here as a beautiful solo for Cornet.

(Doug Engle)This chorus by Doug Horley uses some 'invented' words, but it clearly communicates how our response should be to a God who loves us.

No. 2134 Festival March - Troops Salute (Paul Sharman)Written to mark the retirement of Major John Mott as Bandmaster of the Household Troops Band in 2010, this march features the tunes 'Are you washed?' and 'There's only one flag for me'. No. 2135 Songs of Salvation (Andrew Mackereth)This piece was written for Haaglanden Band in the Netherlands and contains some old Salvation Army Songs; 'Ring the bell, watchman' (T.B. 776), 'Make no delay' (T.B.730), 'Room for Jesus' (T.B. 395), 'Tell me the old, old story' (T.B. 265) and 'Praise God, I'm saved' (T.B. 770).No. 2136 Shepherd's Carol (Dean Jones arr. Kenneth Downie)Originally published in November 1955, this lovely carol was written by father and son, Dean and Henry Goffin, both of whom were Salvation Army officers. Commissioner Sir Dean Goffin was awarded his kinghthood in the Queen's Honours list of 1983No. 2137 On High! (Martin Cordner)Taking its inspiration from the world of rock music, this piece features the song, 'Lord, I lift your name on high'.

No. 2123 Carol Setting - Joy to the world! (Lieut. Colonel Norman Bearcroft)'Joy to the world' is a melody often attributed to Handel, but it is a bringing together of a couple of brief snippets of themes from his oratorio, 'Messiah'. These were put together by Lowell Mason to form the tune, 'Antioch', which we use for this carol. The carol has been arranged in majestic style by Lieut-Colonel Norman Bearcroft.No. 2124 Night of Joy (Andrew Wainwright)'Night of Joy' is based on a traditional Spanish Christmas song entitled 'Cantemos a Maria' ('Let's sing to Mary').No. 2125 Dedication (Dr Kenneth Downie)A setting of Colonel Brindley Boon's beautiful song of dedication, 'I dedicate myself to thee' (Musical Salvationist, November 1950).No. 2126 Cornet Duet - Synergy (Captain Martin Cordner)This piece celebrates the Biblical principle of believers working together in the Body of Christ and incorporates the song with words by Catherine Baird 'We're in Gods Army and we fight together with the composers own melody to Philip Paul Bliss's words 'Whosoever heareth! shout, shout the sound.
