Brass Band score only. 'Salt of the Earth Gospel' is a new arrangment for Solo Euphonium and Brass Band of the second movement of the Concerto for Tuba 'Salt of the Earth'. It is a seven-bar melody that is passed around different soloists whilst the solo euphonium weaves in and out of the melody in an almost improvisatory way. Tension is created by a gradual dynamic build with an ensemble release before the soloist gently brings the piece to rest. Dur: 4:30

Charge of the Light Brigade was commissioned by the Foden's Youth Band in 2012. It tells the story of a battle in the Crimean War, where six hundred members of the light cavalry were sent to attack an Artillery Battery. EMBLEM OF THE ARMY (Brass Band Set) - Arthur Gullidge

ANTHEM OF THE FREE (Brass Band Set) - Dean Goffin
Prior to becoming a Salvation Army officer, Dean Goffin was the first Salvationist composer to gain a degree in music composition. This march was originally written for the 4th Brigade Band of the New Zealand Armed Forces (which Goffin conducted during World War Two) and called Bel Hamid before being adapted for Salvation Army use. This arrangement, by Professor Peter Graham, of Joy Webb's timeless song, published in The Musical Salvationist (April 1986), was commissioned by Howard Taylor and the Brisbane Excelsior Band. Professor Graham first used this melody in the middle section of his piece 'Shine as the light' and, from this, has crafted a beautiful and extended treatment of the song.
